Nurse On The Run

Why Blog?
I'm a nurse and I run. A nurse who has to rotate onto nights at times. I've spent most of my life tired because of these things, I look older than I should because of these things. I'm not a particularly fast runner (probably not a great nurse either), nor can I run that far, ten miles is my furthest, but I am addicted to it. Being addicted to something tends to mean I talk about it rather a lot and my friends are entirely bored by it, some even irritated I suspect, so hence I'm here, writing to try and off load my enthusiasm or my moaning or panic that I can't fit a run in. Then perhaps some of my friends will stop dreading the sentences that start with, 'on my run'. I have no idea what I will say, there's no plan laid out about, when or what I will write. I doubt anyone but I shall ever read it...time will tell. If you are reading this I hope the posts that follow keep you entertained, even if in just a small way.
